- i did not intend to interpret this song but it just occurred to me while singing the song. The song comes in images for me....i was taken back to when God decided to flood the earth...yeah Noah's time...the famous ark. It was very dark and you could not tell from the inside if it is already night or day for time is not essential anymore..the earth is covered with so much dark that if you look outside  not even the moon's reflection can be seen. It keeps on raining and from time to time  lightning strucks and when it does you will see the water has covered the entire earth...The world is so quiet...scary even...the kind of silence that will break your heart...You know what is happening but inside you is at peace amidst the dark...no the water is not calm at all nor the wind mild..but it is your heart...it is your heart that is still. God has shown His immense power. And you are left in awe...yes this must have been what Noah felt in those time...Because in all people God has chosen  him to show His power. The God who is king over the flood has chosen him. You are still because you know He is God.
